Run Logan Run are a bubbling brew of surging, polyrhythmic alt-breakbeats and guttural saxophone. Ferociously propelled by Matt Brown’s drums and guided by soul-deep melodies from Andrew Neil Hayes’ tenor, Run Logan Run are driven by raw power and visceral energy. The duo cut their teeth touring the UK extensively and sharing stages with the likes of Colin Stetson, Melt Yourself Down, Shabaka Hutchings, and The Bad Plus. To date the Bristolian pair have worked with John McLaughlin and members of Snarky Puppy, Danalogue & Betamax (The Comet Is Coming), Riaan Vosloo (Nostalgia 77), Dilip Harris (Brownswood / Ninja Tune) Matthew Bourne (Leaf Label) and Ill Considered, to name but a few.
For this gig – their first visit to Ireland – Run Logan Run will be joined by Annie Gardiner vocals), Dan Messore (guitar), and Beth O’Lenahan (bass).
